The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) hosted the Global Forum for Supporters of Palestine, held in conjunction with the Fourth International Al-Aqsa Call Forum, under the organisation and patronage of the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (PBUH). The event witnessed wide participation from prominent academic and scholarly figures from various countries around the world.
This forum served as a global platform for dialogue, shedding light on the Palestinian cause from academic and humanitarian perspectives, while reaffirming the role of universities in raising awareness and defending human values and the legitimate rights of peoples within the framework of academic and ethical responsibility toward just global causes.
The organisation of this forum reflects the university’s contribution to achieving the sixteenth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 16), which aims to promote peace, justice, and the building of strong institutions. Warith Al-Anbiya University firmly believes that supporting just causes and fostering a culture of dialogue and academic engagement exemplifies the role of higher education in building fairer and more humane societies.
The forum also provided a valuable opportunity for participants to exchange insights and enhance the role of universities in advocating for human rights through research, studies, and global symposia, contributing to the development of an influential academic discourse on the international stage.
