The Presidency of the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) participated in the 6th International Conference on Engineering Sciences (ICES2022), represented by Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi.
The conference was hosted by the University of Karbala, College of Engineering, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Na'im Al-Abboudi, and under the presidency of the University of Karbala's President, Dr. Basim Al-Sa'idi.
During the conference's opening session, the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), Professor Dr. Waqad Al-Mousawi, delivered a scientific lecture titled "Climate Change and Water Scarcity in Iraq." The lecture addressed the climate conditions and highlighted recent studies in this field that underscore the significant impact on Iraq's water situation. It also outlined approaches and mechanisms for mitigating the effects of climate change.

Wraith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him) invites esteemed researchers interested in human development to participate in the First National Conference under the theme "Advancement through Development and Growth." This conference is titled "The Impact of the Value System in Building and Enhancing Society" and is jointly organized by the Holy Hussein Shrine and Wraith Al-Anbiyaa University's College of Islamic Sciences and the Department of Human Resource Development.
Accepted research papers at the conference will be published in a dedicated book with an ISBN classification. Moreover, there are awards for outstanding research in accordance with the conference's topics.

Wraith Al-Anbiyaa University participated in the second scientific conference dedicated to preserving the heritage of Amir al-Mu'minin, Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him). The conference was organized by the General Secretariat of the Holy Alawite Threshold in collaboration with the University of Kufa, involving the faculties of Management, Economics, and Arts. The conference focused on "Administrative Aspects and Principles of Righteous Governance in the Heritage of Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him)."
Mr. Hussein Mohammed Ali, a lecturer at the Faculty of Management and Economics, Department of Business Administration at Wraith Al-Anbiyaa University, presented his research titled "The Philosophy of Administrative Insight in the Thought of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and its Role in Achieving Enlightened Leadership - A Content Analysis Study of the Sermons of Imam Ali (peace be upon him)."

Faculty members from the College of Management and Economics, Department of Business Administration, Mr. Hussein Mohammed Ali and Mr. Ali Aziz Al-Kalkawi, participated in the "International Conference on New Developments in Humanities," hosted by the University of Tehran with wide participation from various Arab and international countries.
Their participation involved presenting a collaborative research paper on new developments in the field of humanities.

Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Saadoun, visited the Department of Health in Karbala and met with its General Director, Dr. Sabah Al-Mousawi. During the meeting, both parties discussed various scientific, research, and academic matters of mutual interest.
The meeting also addressed the importance of exchanging scientific and medical expertise, as well as the planning of future joint meetings. Additionally, the discussion focused on expanding the prospects of scientific and academic collaboration between the two entities.

Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munim Al-Shawk, Dr. Nasreen Jawad Kazim, and Dr. Sari Ghassan, medical students have commenced practical training courses at Saqr Hospital and Ras Al Khaimah Medical and Health Sciences University.
Practical training for medical college students in Arab and international universities, as well as their affiliated hospitals, is considered a crucial aspect of preparing students for the medical field. Practical training is typically organized by placing students in hospitals, health centers, and scientific laboratories to gain practical experience in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.



 
 
 

A delegation from the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), led by the Scientific Assistant, Professor Dr. Waqad Al-Mousawi, and including Dr. Mohamed Jamal Al-Taif, the Head of the Department of Government Communication and Media, has signed several scientific agreements with Iranian universities. These universities include Al-Alamah Tabatabai University, Sharif University of Technology, Razi University, and Science and Industry University.
These agreements are part of the university's efforts to exchange academic and research experiences with Iranian universities that have achieved international rankings, such as the Shanghai ranking and others. The collaboration extends to student training and the establishment of a specialized medical research center.
It's worth noting that the Science Week between Iraq and Iran is sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, involving the participation of sixty Iraqi and Iranian universities. This initiative aims to enhance joint scientific cooperation programs between the universities of both countries, achieving the desired level of impactful cultural and academic exchange.

As an honor from the presidency of the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) for the top-performing students of the medical college who have excelled in previous years, the university has organized a scientific trip to the United Arab Emirates. This trip includes a group of esteemed faculty members.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the launch of the Student Guide for admission to private universities and the first phase of the electronic application process for the academic year 2024/2023.
The first phase involves creating an account, filling in the data, and verifying it through the electronic portal of the Private Higher Education Department (https://www.pe-gate.org).
The Ministry calls on students to review the Student Guide to learn about private universities, their colleges, departments, and specializations. It emphasizes that students will be able to fill in their data and confirm it after the results of the second round of preparatory study are announced.
The Ministry advises interested individuals to avoid any paper application, seat reservation, or purchasing of tickets outside the centralized electronic admission system managed by the Private Higher Education Department.

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboodi, inaugurates Iraq Education Exhibition and Conference 2023 with regional and international participation. During the opening ceremony, the minister emphasized the ministry's commitment to global academic engagement, quality, and innovation. He highlighted the success of establishing an open environment for Iraqi universities to embrace non-conventional identities, foster academic interaction, and compete internationally.
Dr. Al-Aboodi also pointed out significant projects in the Iraqi higher education sector, including the unprecedented transformation towards a Bologna Process, which involves over 600 specialized departments in government and private universities, as well as the pioneering project "Study in Iraq," which has attracted more than three thousand international students.
The minister stressed the ministry's focus on the quality of university outputs and the advancement of scholarly contributions on the global stage, praising Iraqi researchers for achieving notable recognition. He emphasized the ministry's commitment to embracing quality standards and the adoption of e-governance principles as essential pillars in achieving excellence in the academic institutions and meeting the labor market's requirements and societal service dimensions.
The opening ceremony included speeches from the Parliamentary Higher Education Committee, international institutions, and companies, including Empower Business Solutions, which lauded the ministry's efforts in employment and scientific engagement. In his opening remarks at the scientific workshop, the Minister emphasized that the Ministry of Higher Education is actively working on improving the medical education environment by establishing scientific partnerships with international universities and colleges. This includes providing the necessary resources for scientific research, enabling universities to achieve their goals, and offering training programs for students and faculty members in the medical and research fields.
Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi, the head of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Department, highlighted the importance of ensuring quality and accreditation. He mentioned that the ministry has formed twenty accreditation councils in various specialties, including the Medical Accreditation Council, established in 2008. This council has been working on program accreditations and collaborating with the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) to obtain international accreditation.
Dr. Munir Al-Saadi, the President of the University of Baghdad, stated that the university is actively working on enhancing research pathways that directly contribute to scientific and educational progress. This helps strengthen cooperation and competitiveness among students and serves the community.
In this context, the Dean of the College of Medicine, along with experts, researchers, and experts, presented their insights and proposals aimed at updating medical education in accordance with the requirements and needs of the Iraqi society.

Due to the significant role that scientific research and writing play in the context of work, Dr. Mahdi Al-Saadi, the head of the Missions and Cultural Relations Department at the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa, presented a workshop entitled "Research Methodology" to the participants of the Men's Bank Program in its fourth edition. During the workshop, he defined scientific research and its importance in the field of work, explained and prepared a scientific research plan, outlined how to organize ideas and the necessary steps for successfully completing research, and analyzed and explained various parts of scientific research and how to write them effectively.

The College of Nursing is conducting interviews for a number of its students. The religious custodian of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbala'i (may his glory endure), issued a decision to appoint 100 male and female students from the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) in the medical institutions of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain. The College of Nursing conducted preliminary interviews for some of its students who graduated last year for the purpose of appointing them in the medical institutions of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain as an investment in these promising scientific talents.
These interviews were conducted after the formation of a scientific committee consisting of the college's dean and its professors to ensure transparency in the selection of applicants for appointment. Students of the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) have priority in appointments to the institutions of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, especially for top-ranking students from the previous year.

The delegation was received by Mr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, the President of the University, along with Dr. Munir Al-Daami, the head of the Academic Union Branch in Karbala, and Sheikh Rabaah Hussein Al-Rabaah, a legal expert.
This visit aims to strengthen the scientific cooperation between the university and the union. The President of the Academic Union extended his congratulations and best wishes to Dr. Ali Abdul Saadoun, the Dean of the College of Medicine, on the occasion of his appointment as the Dean. He also congratulated Dr. Hussein Hadi Hussein, Assistant Professor, on his appointment as the Dean of the College of Engineering. They prayed to Almighty God for their success in serving the academic progress in our beloved country.

"The British International Accreditation Institutional ASIC" is an accrediting body for various international universities, institutes, and academic institutions. It is a government-recognized body in the United Kingdom and operates under the supervision of the UK Ministry of Education's Education and Social Services Foundation.
As part of the efforts of the leadership of the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) to enhance the academic quality of the university, they have initiated the process of obtaining "British International Accreditation Institutional ASIC."
A team of audit experts from the British accreditation institution ASIC visited the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) to conduct an audit and assessment of the academic and scientific aspects of the university. They also evaluated the alignment of the institution's standards with the academic and scientific capabilities and infrastructure of the university.
The audit team commenced their process by holding a meeting with the university's administration, deans of faculties, and heads of academic departments to present the requirements of the institution, along with the evidence and documents provided by the university.
This visit included a tour within the university premises and attendance at several academic lectures for students of the Faculty of Medicine and Law.
Subsequently, a separate meeting was held to present evidence and documents by the faculties and departments.

The legitimate guardian of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (PBUH), His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai (May he be honoured) directed the employment of the top graduates of the College of Administration and Economics at Al-Warith Printing and Publishing house, according to the admission conditions of the house.
This proposition comes within the context of joint cooperation between the institutions of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (PBUH), and the necessity of the continuous need for qualified personnel in the job market.
Therefore, the university will provide Al-Warith House with the names of the top graduates of the Accounting and Business Administration departments.
It is noteworthy that the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH), through the Division of Rehabilitation and Employment as well as the Warith Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Development, concluded a number of agreements to qualify and train the university’s students and graduates, provide them with the necessary skills, and prepare them to work in institutions affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (PBUH), companies, and private sectors.

As part of its ongoing efforts to elevate the state of education in our beloved country and to serve our dear students, the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa Inheritance has signed a scientific agreement with the University of Kirkuk. Representing the University, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, the President of the University, signed the agreement, while Dr. Imran Jamal, the President of the University of Kirkuk, represented their institution.
The agreement encompasses a range of academic and scientific initiatives, including the exchange of scientific visits, collaborative research conducted by professors from both universities, as well as performance evaluation and academic supervision, along with student training programs."

This training is supervised by Dr. Amer Al-Shammari."
